Do you have any earthquake stories? In our novel Dragonwings, Moonshadow and his father experience an earthquake. What would you have done if you were there in such an earthquake?
Well, I was in my parents bedroom when I was like 5 when an earthquake hit! The mirror started shaking and I don't think I really knew what an earthquake was so I kinda freaked out! My mom was out shopping so my dad ran up and found me and told me that it was an earthquake!:) Not the most exciting story but there it is:)
remember the earthquake that hit San Jose Califonia on October 30,2007. well i was in the living room when suddenly my TV fell.All my family ran outside and took cover.It was a 5.6 earthquake i think
Last year there was a pretty big earthquake and pretty much everybody felt the shaking. I was practicing the piano when it happened.I thought it was my dad pounding on the desk, but I was wrong. It was an earthquake. My 4 year old brother got really scared and started crying. Right now,in science class we are learning about what to do during an earthquake. Things like food around the house so you won't starve is one of the things I learned.
I was in my sister's bedroom, she was putting up posters, and decided to steal the change on her desk. Of course when I did she yelled at me and told me to drop the coins but when they hit the table top the ground shook. My mind went blank and I dove for the pillows on my sisters bed, she was yelling in pain for the tacks in her hand were bouncing around and scraping her skin. I heard my brother hollering across the wall, at least someone was having a good time. When the shaking stopped my dad told us to come downstairs, we all rushed into the hall and sprinted down to the landing where we were embraced by my father, my mom stormed out of the house that night and drove to the mall to see dream girls for the trillionth time. Dad said it would shake some more but it didn't. I was paranoid for months.
the earthquake last year the night before halloween. i had just come out of the shower and i was watching t.v in my mommy and daddy's room. the the earthquek hit! it was weird. lol :)
